*Something* mechanically is out of whack with the car, and Ash's program required that something to be in perfect working order to function properly? Whereas with the JWT chip it would go unnoticed? Timing, A/F, etc. (this is purely coming out of my ass BTW, it just seems unlikely that Ash would let the car go to its owner while hardly being able to idle). If this is a possibility, then without seeing Ash's ECU mapping, there is no way to say that, without a doubt, Ash's ECU programming alone was the culprit. Ie., car under the conditions Ash tuned it could have been fine w/Ash's ECU, but when something unrelated went wrong, the car had issues with Ash's ECU. I definitely see where you're coming from, I don't intend to defend either side, and I'm certainly not saying that DVDBurn is lying about it. I'm just pointing out the fact that there is not enough indisputable evidence to come to the conclusion that Ash's ECU programming was the culprit and the culprit alone - *without the maps* - and you don't need to know a thing about cars to come to this conclusion. Did Wagz ever report a problem like this?
